By working with families, volunteers, and donors, we create simple, high-quality homes that empower individuals and strengthen our community. Our mission is to provide decent, affordable housingwithout profit, without predatory lending, and with a commitment to sustainable homeownership.

Critical Home Repairs:
When something in your home breaks, it can disrupt your routine, compromise your safety, and upset your peace of mind. We help low-to moderate-income homeowners fix critical issuesso you can stay where you belong.

Service Team for Exterior Projects (S.T.E.P.):
Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area's Service Team for Exterior Projects (S.T.E.P.) program utilizes volunteers to help low-income homeowners who, because of age, disability, and family circumstances, are unable to address exterior maintenance and repair issues. This program serves homeowners in Salt Lake, Tooele, and Davis Counties.

Volunteering:
Individuals or groups of people are able to volunteer hours towards our ReStore, worksite, or S.T.E.P projects.

Second Chance Program:
Most people who exit incarceration or homelessness have nothing. They must rebuild their lives from the ground up. Habitat eases that transition by partnering with 50+ local nonprofit organizations to provide their clients with ReStore vouchers. The clients can select any needed items, including furniture, artwork, appliances, kitchenware, and other household items.

Global Village:
Be part of something bigger! Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake invites you on an unforgettable journey to an international location. This immersive service trip is your chance to build homes, improve water infrastructure, and engage with the local community while experiencing the heart of service.

ReStore:
We offer many items at the store that are half or less than half the original price the items retail for. A couple of items we have range from home repair items like doors, carpet, and insulation to makeup, holiday decor, and electronics.
